Come to class with 12 left over quilt blocks, vintage or your own and explore ways to break all the rules and use them in a new way. I used log cabin blocks but other blocks of the same or different types work too! They do not have to all be the same size!
We will learn ways to see the blocks in a new way, add additional fabric, applique on backgrounds, cut and re assemble the blocks ending up with 12 all new blocks of the same size.
On day 2 we will plan out a quilt with sashing, multiple borders and fancy edging.
We can't complete a quilt in 2 days but the complete pattern with detailed step by step instructions will be given as a class kit.
