This class starts with a digital image or photo and details my process for making it into an art quilt. Learn techniques to work with an photo of your own doll or favorite image.
A simple project and overview can be done in one day. More detailed projects take 2-3 days.
Computer, printer and scanner are not necessary for the class but will be needed by students later if they wish to use digital elements in their art quilts.
Students will create a small sample project working from class kit materials supplied. Technique sheets on several aspects of digital fabric design, drafting and assembling will be included.
Students will need to bring hand sewing supplies and a selection of fabrics to be detailed in a complete student supply list if this class is selected.
